The Millennials like doing it their way which is called the CORRECT way.. Our generations often talk to us about. But correct or not, we prefer making our own mistakes, learning from them and rising above. But that was not the case with our parent's generations. They had their own set of rules and a style of living and we all need to accept it. We have a huge generation gap standing between our parents and Us dont you think so?
Here's why we stand by doing things our own way and love being who we are
1. We like to take risk's we never like playing it safe
Have you planned your carrer accordingly like your parent's did? NEVER! This generation kids have always been Bold , unconventional and they always want to experiment. it's like taking risk's. we dont want to be bogged down by a monotonous lifestyle and carrer choices that we'd probably regret in 50's.
2. Millennials plan for the present- WE DONT LIVE OR EARN FOR THE FUTURE
Do you all remember how our parents planned ahead for the future and never really did anything for fun just because they wanted to? This generation they live only for the present because who saw the future? kal ho na ho.... clich`e but true! w elove exploring new things, travelling, adventure, discovering new cultures and meeting new people Why trade life changing experiences just because the society expects us to!
3. Social Norms have been questioned
our old generations married early because the society believed that was the right age for one and make the family. However, our generation has finally learned that there is no right age for love. It happens when it has to and that's when you commit to a person, not because the society feels you are growing too old. We have also become more accepting of love of all kinds.
4. We don't wait for life to happen
This generation is all known for grabbing opprtunities. All they know only one thing for this life that is Work hard, Travel hard and party hard. This generation is a go-getter where we have invented new avenues for success. Millennials are bringing in the bucks with once never thought of avenues like blogging neing a life coach, etc
5. All they do is save the hard earned to travel the world
The priories of this generations have a drastically major shidt. As we re moving further away from maaerialistic gain and more inclined towrads life experiences. That's our real wealth. And of course, this doesn't mean we are'nt careful with our money. Just because we spend it, doesn't mean that we dont plan it.No matter how many things we do differently from our parents, there are just a few things that will never be different- our love for them, the life lessons they have given us and our respect for the sacrifices they made for our future.
A BIG THANK YOU TO THE GENERATAIONS. And while you live the way you want, never think you are grown enough old to take their advices, because they are right almost everything and are really trying very hard to bridge the gap in our thoughts. Trust me, you'll be surprised.
