Sangareddy (Medak): District Collector A Dinakar Babu instructed the officials to prepare fool-proof plans to implement Indiramma Paccha Toranam scheme in the district.A Earliler, principal secretary of Rural Development Department R Subrahmanyam and CEO of Society for Eradication of Rural Poverty (SERP) Rajasekhar extended various suggestions to the district collectors and officials of various departments on the implementation of Indiramma Paccha Toranam scheme in the districts.

The district collector later addressing the officials of DRDA, DWMA, R&B, Panchayat Raj, Irrigation, Agriculture departments said that the officials should identify the government lands in the villages, canal bunds, drainage bunds to hand over to the poor beneficiaries in the villages under the 'tree patta' scheme. "The beneficiaries would get benefit by planting saplings in those lands," he added.

The beneficiaries would be paid certain amount for protecting the trees in the villages. A The collector said that the persons belong to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes would get employment and at the same time it would help reduce pollution.A He recalled that the saplings plantation was already started at Dubbaka and the same spirit should continue in the rest of the district.

DRDA project director Ravindar, DWMA project director Sridhar, Panchayat Raj superintending engineer Venkateswara Rao, R&B superintending engineer Asha Rani, joint director of Agriculture department Uma Maheswaramma, DRDA are coordinators, mandal samakhya executive committee members, paralegal community surveyors and others were present.
