Harish flays YSRCP

Siddipet (Medak): Heavily coming down on the leadership of YSR Congress party here on Sunday, TRS leader and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao said that the party’s honorary president YS Vijayamma came out with true colours by supporting the agitation for united Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to newsmen, Harish Rao recalled that YS Vijayamma during his Telangana tour stated that she would respect the sentiments of Telangana people but now both her daughter Sharmila and she came out with true colours.He said that the YSR Congress leaders should make as to why they had changed their stance. “Is it because they could not take over Bayyaram ore mines? Or was Jagan not satisfied with the thousands of crores he had already amassed?” He said. He further recalled that YS Vijayamma did not condemn the statement of Konda Surekha during Parakala public meeting that the first bill in the Assembly would be for the formation of Telangana after coming to power.

Since they could not wield power in Telangana, the YSR Congress was trying its hand in Seemandhra, he remarked. The family party of YSR Congress was clearly Seemandhra party, he remarked. Harish Rao demanded that Sharmila should undertake bus yatra in Siricilla and Parakala in Telangana to prove her point. He exhorted people to demolish the party poles and flags should not be seen in Telangana. He advised the Telangana leaders to leave YSR Congress party immediately, Former municipal chairman K Rajanarsu, former MPP Duvvala Mallaiah, Maccha Venugopal Reddy, former MPTC Sampat Reddy, Seshu Kumar and others were present.
