Women assaulted in forest, killed

GAJWEL: Two unidentified women have been molested and killed near Komatibanda forest area on Thursday. The duo have been raped and later killed with the squashes of liquor bottles.

Near Mexin agriculture area at Komatibanda, on Thursday two dead bodies of women aged about 35-40 years have been found by the local villagers. They informed the police immediately. The local CI of Police Amruth Reddy and SI Anjaneyulu rushed the spot. The dead bodies were at a distance of 15 yards from the spot of incident. The police found packets of condoms, liquor bottles, glass pieces of liquor bottles, a gift box and saree bags belonging to the deceased women at the spot. Of the two victims, one woman wore dark green colour saree, while the other wore light wheat colour blouse. It is suspected that both the women were forcibly given liquor and then were raped to death. In order to conceal the identity, the accused deformed the faces of the victims. Later, the dead bodies were thrown far away.

From the other end, the gift box at the spot of the incident induces the doubt if the women have been killed while returning their homes after celebrating the Bathukamma. The dog squad has been used to collect the clues. Later, the DSP of police, Venkata Reddy has also visited the site.
