A 33-year-old football player hailing from Hyderabad, Mir Baquer Ali Razavi lost his life after being hit by a train at the Osterly railway station in London on April 12.

The UK police authorities sent an official communication about Razavi's death on April 17th to the city police and his body is being sent to Hyderabad. Razavi's death under mysterious circumstances has raised questions for his family. His parents Abbasi and Hassan Ali Razavi alleged racial attack to be the reason behind Razavi's death and demanded intervention from the state government. Razavi's parents claims, however, were refuted by the UK authorities who stated that there was no ill motive that caused his death.

Razavi had filed a complaint against some locals in the UK, a year back when he was thrashed badly in a racial attack. Razavi had flew down to Hyderabad for treatment as his bones were crushed. As he flew back to the UK, Razavi was awarded a huge sum towards compensation.
