Vinayaka Chaviti celebrations in USA

Telugu Association in Estero City, Florida held Vinayaka Chaviti celebrations were held on August 25th.

Around 200 people hailing from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and few North Indians took part in the three-day celebrations.

President of the Telugu Association, Suresh Bheemnapalli who belongs to Tripuravaram village, Anantagiri Mandal of Nalgonda district organized the entire event.

The committee members include Guru Prasad, Jyothi, Deepthi, Sridhar, Gopi, Siva, Vinod, Arjun, Arun, Priya, Tulip, Trivarna and Lipika.

Even the Americans participated in the several pujas that were held during the three days while Mr Suresh explained them the importance of Vinayaka Chaviti.

Following the Telugu sentiment even in the United States, the laddu was auctioned off at $1,000 to Gopi, Priya and Siva.

Despite heavy rains trapping the city in flood water, they conducted the Vinayaka Nimarjan successfully.
