Miryalaguda: Minister for Panchayat Raj K Jana Reddy on Friday called upon the medical fraternity to ensure good medicare to poor women, especially in rural areas.
Inaugurating a fertility centre at Jyothi Hospital here, the Minister appreciated the hospital management for their resolve to bring the best medicare within the reach of even poor people. He said it was highly appreciable that the highly expensive healthcare was made affordable to the underprivileged sections of the society as well.
MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy said the hospital is an example of how service-oriented doctors are setting commercial motives aside and caring for the society. MLA Julakanti Ranga Reddy said that Dr Muvva Rama Rao was not only rendering quality healthcare services through his hospital but was also serving the society with his philanthropist acts in Miryalaguda town.
He deserves commendation for being a role model for other medical professionals in reaching out to the poor sections of the society. MLC Pula Ravinder stressed the need for setting up such hospitals across the district in the countryside. He was all praise for Jyothi Hospital for providing treatment for kidney ailments for a mere Rs 2,000.
Former MLA Thippana Vijayasimha Reddy, G Ramurthy Yadav, former ZP chairperson C D Ravi Kumar, for APCOB Chairman Yadavelli Vijayender Reddy, Samineni Srinivas Rao, Paduri Karuna, RDO Srinivas Reddy, Dr Srinivasa Raju, Krishna Prasad, Jeevana Jyothi, Dr Parijata and others were present at the function.
