The devotees made a beeline to temples and offered special prayers to Lord Siva at Pachhalla Someshwara temple in Panagallu near Nalgonda, Jadalaramalingeswara Swamy temple in Chervugattu and temples at Vadapalli, Mellachervu, Pillalamarri and Yadagirigutta. MLC Pula Ravinder performed special pujas at Pachhalla Someshwara temple in Panagallu in the presence of Vedic pundits. Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy offered special prayers at Pachhalla Someshwara temple in Nalgonda. Alair MLA B Bikshamaiah Goud, former director of Information and Public Relations department Chamala Venkat Narasimha Reddy visited the famous Sri Umamaheswara Swamy temple in Sharbanapuram village in Alair mandal and offered prayers.Medak: Siva temples reverberated with 'Om Namassivaya' in the district as devotees in large numbers thronged them to pay their obeisance on the occasion of Mahasivaratri. Lakhs of devotees visited Sri Bhramarambika Mallikarjuna Swamy temple on Beeramguda hillock on the outskirts of Aminpur village in Patanchervu mandal. Devotees started to flock the temples from the early hours.
