TRS demands immediate release of T protagonists

Nalgonda: Condemning the arrest of TRS and TJAC leaders during the Sadak Bandh, TRS leaders and activists handed over a memorandum to Dr BR Ambedkar statue in front of the DEO office here on Friday, seeking immediate release of detained leaders. Speaking on the occasion, TRS district president Banda Narendar Reddy accused Congress of betraying people fighting for the Telanagana cause. He said TRS legislators would move an adjournment motion in the House, seeking discussion on TRS and TJAC leaders' arrest. He alleged Congress was foisting cases against Telangana protagonists though they were staging demonstrations in a democratic way. Narendar Reddy demanded immediate release of detained leaders without any condition. Speaking on the occasion, TRS district women wing president Sharanya Reddy asked why Telangana MLAs remained silent when the TRS and TJAC leaders were arrested. She warned that Telangana people would teach a befitting lesson to the Congress MLAs representing Telangana at an appropriate time.
