Lakshmi Narasimha Jayanthi from May 22

Yadagirigutta (Nalgonda): Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Jayanti would be celebrated from May 22, Executive Officer of the temple Krishnaveni announced here on Monday.A Earlier,MLA Budida Bhikshamaiah Goud released a poster regarding the Jayanti celebrations of the presiding deity of Yadagiri Gutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. The three-day celebrations would conclude on May 24, she added. The executive officer said that other programmes like kalyanams would not be performed in the three days. "Ashtottara Shata Ghatabhishekam would be performed on May 24 and regarding that special puja, regular darshan of Swamy was cancelled," she said. MLA Budida Bhikshamaiah Goud visited the 'Koneru', bathrooms, choultry, dormitory halls and expressed dissatisfaction over the poor maintenance. He warned the devasthanam staff of severe action if they do not act to rectify the things immediately. The MLA said that the weight of the laddu was below the specification and the quality was not up to the mark. He also expressed ire over the quality of food served at 'anna daanam' The MLA said that Krishna River water to Yadagirigutta people was a blessing. He thanked the HMTV/The Hans India initiative in highlighting the fluoride problem.
