‘Will Continue Fight For Justice To Telugus’

New Delhi: TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, after being discharged from the Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi on Sunday, vowed to continue his fight till justice is done to the Telugu people. The doctors had forcibly administered fluids, thus ending the fast, but the fight will continue till justice is done, he said. Significantly, BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi called up to enquire about the health of Naidu.

The TDP Chief expressed gratitude to all the leaders including Janata Dal (U) leader Sharad Yadav, SAD leader and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, AGP leader and former Assam Chief Minister PK Mahanta and INLD leader Abhay Chautala for expressing their solidarity with his hunger strike. Naidu asserted that his fast in the Capital was aimed at exposing at the national level the cruel cold-blooded political game played by the Congress, with eye on reaping political and electoral benefits.

The fast was aimed at opening the eyes of the national leaders to the gross injustice being done to the Telugu people. This is a fight for justice, he said. The situation in Andhra Pradesh has now become a national issue, he said. The Congress leaders like Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh and AICC Spokesman P C Chacko are confusing the people with their irrelevant statements.

“The Congress is itself a problem to the nation. I will not leave this issue. I shall fight it again and again, until justice is done to the Telugu people,” Chandrababu Naidu said. It is purely because of the wrong decisions of the Congress that Andhra Pradesh has suffered a downward slide in several fields. The TDP had developed Andhra Pradesh in diverse fields. All that the Congress has done now is to divide the people, in the name of dividing the State.

The massive agitation in Seemandhra region is completely voluntary and the people there are seeking to articulate their fears and concerns troubling them. The Congress is simply ignoring those fears and concerns, instead of addressing the same to the satisfaction of the people of Seemandhra.
