Sunanda pushkar suicide: probe on

In a shocking turn of events, union minister shashi tharoor's wife sunanda pushkar was found dead at the leela hotel in Delhi.

The unbelievable news comes a day after Twitter controversy over a Pakistan journalist's alleged affair with tharoor.

It is learnt that it was tharoor's personal assistant who called the police with the news. He conveyed to them that sunanda committed suicide.

The incident happened at a hotel in chanakyapuri area of Delhi. While shashi tharoor was last seen at the crucial aicc meet, sunanda was last seen in the hotel premises at 3:30 pm. It is learnt that the couple had moved into the hotel as there was painting works going on at home.

Tharoor's personal assistant ruled out foul play and said there was no struggle before death. The police too didn't find any strangulation marks on sunanda's body. However, the forensic team is closely examining the scene of crime. A high-level probe has been ordered into the death and investigations are on.

Prime minister Manmohan Singh called tharoor to offer his condolences.
