MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was on Monday granted an extension to his 30-day parole which now extends the total leave granted to the actor to 90 days out of his total stay in prison so far.
Dutt, who secured a parole on Dec 21 from Pune's Yerawada Central Jail (YCJ), was expected to return to the jail on January 20 after the completion of his one month leave from the prison. However, he received another extension to his leave by 30 days on personal grounds.
Prior to this, Dutt had been released on a 30-day parole in October last year.
The 'Munna bhai' fame actor has spent many days out on parole since being imprisoned. It has been 249 days since him being lodged in jail but he has been granted parole for 90 days so far.
