Cobrapost - BJP for Babri Masjid sting. Little did the associate editor of Cobrapost K Ashish know, that when he would finish travelling in Ayodhya, Faizabad, Tanda, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Mathura, Moradabad in UP, Jaipur, Aurangabad, Mumbai and Gwalior, he would return home with a hornets’ nest in his boot.

He pretended to be an author, researching for his material for a book on Ayodhya, and interviewed 23 individuals who were present on the shameful day of the demolition of Babri Masjid. He collected this information while having covert conversations with them.
His claims have rattled the corridors of BJP and Sangh Pariwar at this junction, where the General Elections are just around the block. Cobrapaost is making tall claims that the demolition of Babri Masjid on 6th December, 1992 was a meticulously planned and executed operation. They say that months of planning went into this mission, the designs of which were made in the offices of Sangh Pariwar. The picture that had been portrayed all these years, of a mob that went into frenzy, stands totally refuted after this report.
Cobrapost claims that after placing together all the pieces of this gory puzzle, it is evident that BJP stalwarts like L K Advani, Kalyan Singh the then Chief Minister of UP, and even former PM Narsimha Rao, were fully aware of the master plan. No independent confirmations of these claims have come forward till now and nor has it been ascertained that theses confessions are true.
The interviewed spelled out all the details of how the volunteers were trained and the logistic were put in place of the project code named ‘Operation Janmabhoomi ‘. They also allege how young enthusiast volunteers were used as bait for inciting police firing on kar sevaks. Since, some prominent leaders were of the belief that unless there were a few martyrs the missions would run out of steam. Most of the individuals interviewed by the editor have cases and CBI enquiries pending against them in the court of law.
The people that were interviewed had no shame or reluctance in confessing to their doing. Those interviewed were, B L Sharma Prem, Dharmendra Singh Gurjar, Jai Bhagwan Goel, Pawan Pandey, Santosh Dubey, Ramji Gupta, Ramesh Pratap Singh, Sadhavi Ritambhara, Kalyan Singh, Prakash Sharma, Champat Rai Bansal, Satish Pradhan, Mahant Avaidyanath, Moreshwar Save, Lallu Singh, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Swami Nritya Gopal Das.
The master plot was conceived in utmost secrecy and even the participants were not aware of it till a month before. A month long training was undertaken by Bajrang Dal in Sarkhej, Gujarat, in which 38 cadres from all over the country participated. The actual propaganda session were conducted by none other than Acharya Giriraj Kishore, Acharya Dharmendra, Praveen Togadia, Jaibhan Paweya and Ashok Singhal.
The cadres were given a military style training overseen by retired military officers who taught them skills to climb structures with ropes and hooks. The trained members were given an oath of secrecy and they formed a Laxman Sena, dedicated to tearing out the 16th century structure. It is now known that while the Bajrang Dal and the VHP were holding a secret summit in Ayodhya, the Sena leaders too were doing last minute deliberations in North Avenue.
There was a plan B, called Dynamite Babri incase the Laxman Sewa failed to deliver. The memberS of the plan openly admitted that they were carrying dynamites with them in case they needed to blow off the structure. However, petrol bombs were used and a former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was actually seen planting a petrol bomb by fellow karsevak Jaibhan Singh Paweya.
On the fateful day the Bjarang Dal team, armed with their hammers, chisels, pickaxes, grappling ropes and spades was administered an oath by Ram Vilas Vedanti which said- That on the this day of 6th of December they all take a vow on the premises of Ram Lalla that it has become indispensable to demolish the Masjid to make way for the Ram Janambhoomi temple. Just after the oath the assault was started.
Over the years prominent leaders like Vinay Katiyar, B L Sharma, Santosh Dubey, Sakshi Maharaj and Mahant Ram Vilas Vedanti have openly made claims that they had the support of Narsimha Roa, throughout. Mahant Vedanti is also believed to have informed Kalyan Singh a day before, of the plan A and plan B. There are unconfirmed reports that Kalyan Singh wanted to resign on 6th itself but was dissuaded by senior leaders of BJP.
