BTAD IGP DR LR Bisnoi said that, the operation launched by police and CRPF Cobra commando at three different places under Salbari police station in the BTAD district.
"Following the information revealed by the four NDFB(S) militants who were arrested by police from East Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya on June 28 we have launched the operation at the areas, " the top police official said.
Security forces recovered one AK-56 rifle with magazine and 30 rounds ammunition, one factory made pistol with magazine, two chinese grenades, 52 live ammunition of AK-series rifle, 5 rounds 9mm live ammunition, one round point 22 live ammunition, 7 kilograms RDX, two detonators from the areas belonging to the outfit group.
Security forces also nabbed three linkmen of the Bodo militant group.
