PM e-Visits Assam Police Station. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday had e-visited at Pan Bazar police station in Guwahati.

Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday had e-visited at Pan Bazar police station in Guwahati.

The PM had made his electronic visit to three police stations in Assam, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh through video conferencing.

Interacted with the cops of Assam police, Modi called for enhancing both level of sophistication and the spped of implementation of the Crime and Criminal Tracking and Systems (CCTNS) scheme.

Modi made the video call to the Pan Bazar police station in the city at around 3-45 pm and interacted with the cops for almost five minutes.

Commissioner of Police (Guwahati) Mukesh Agarwal said that, the PM asked how the system is working and helping to reduce crime and crack down criminal activities in reality.

“The PM also enquired to solve vehicle theft and missing cases by using the system,” the Commissioner of Police (Guwahati) said.

Assam DGP Khagen Sarma, Additional Chief Secretary to CM MGVK Vanu and other top police official viewed the video conferencing session with the PM.
