All scheduled commercial banks will remain closed on second and fourth Saturdays (starting from September 12) in accordance with the new wage agreement arrived between various employees associations and managements of banks. All PSU and private sector banks worked half-day on all Saturdays till August end.
Hyderabad: All scheduled commercial banks will remain closed on second and fourth Saturdays (starting from September 12) in accordance with the new wage agreement arrived between various employees associations and managements of banks. All PSU and private sector banks worked half-day on all Saturdays till August end.
According to the agreement, the banks will work on first and third Saturdays of each month and remain closed on second and fourth Saturdays. If a month has five Saturdays, the fifth one will be a working day.
