BJP likely to announce candidate list for 84 constituencies in Assam today

The screening committee of the saffron party headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi held in New Delhi on Wednesday evening to finalized the candidate list for 84 assembly constituencies out of 126 constituencies in Assam assembly.
Guwahati, March 9 : BJP likely to be announced the party candidate list for Assam assembly poll today.
The assembly election in Assam will be held on April 4 and 11 in two phases.
The screening committee of the saffron party headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi held in New Delhi on Wednesday evening to finalized the candidate list for 84 assembly constituencies out of 126 constituencies in Assam assembly.
Earlier, BJP had made poll alliance with Hagrama Mahilary led BPF and Asom Gana Parishad.
A top leader of the saffron party said that, BJP eyes to win in Assam dominated by Congress in past 15 years.
“PM Modi and BJP president Amit Shah will finalize the candidate list,” the BJP leader said.
