In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (i) Ashutosh Jayantilal Shastri, (ii) Biren Aniruddh Vaishnav, (iii) Alpesh Yeshvant Kogje, (vi) Arvindsingh Ishwarsingh Supehia, and (v) Bipinkumar Navalchandbhai Karia, to be Additional Judges of the Gujarat High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Vivek Singh Thakur, and (ii) Shri Ajay Mohan Goel, to be Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices; and

The appointment of S/Shri (i) Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari, (ii) Vivek Rusia, and (iii) Anand Pathak, (iv) Jagdish Prasad Gupta, (v) Anurag Kumar Shrivastava, (vi) Housla Prasad Singh and (vii) Ashok Kumar Joshi, would be for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. However, the period of appointment of Shri Ved Prakash Sharma would be with effect from the date the assume charge of his office till 1st January, 2018.

The appointment of Shri Abhai Kumar, Shri Anil Kumar Srivastava-II, Shri Ravindra Nath Kakkar, and Umesh Chandra Srivastava, would be for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. However, the period of appointment in respect of S/Shri Alok Kumar Mikherjee, Dr. Vijay Laxmi, Ravindra Nath Mishra-II, Prabhat Chandra Tripathi, and Vinod Kumar Srivastava-III is with effect from the date they assumes charge of their offices till 17th January, 2017, 30th June, 2017, 05th November 2017, 25th January 2018 and 24th March 2018 respectively.
