Nita Ambani nominated to IOC

Nita Ambani, chairperson, Indian Super League and owner of Mumbai Indians has been nominated for membership in the International Olympic Committee and will become the first Indian woman to be on the apex sporting body if she gets elected at the IOC Session scheduled from August 2 to 4. The election will be held at the 129th IOC Session in Rio de Janeiro on August 2-4.
