DLF Gardencity on 25th January’17 organized an event which was held at DLF Gardencity Sports Complex, Sector 91 in Gurgaon.

The celebrations started with a patriotic dance and music performance followed by engaging games and activities. To add on some spice to the taste buds there were several food stalls offering variety of scrumptious food. A talent hunt contest especially organized for the children was one the main attraction of the program.

“DLF Gardencity is truly a diverse township as the residents are from different parts of the country. It has been our endeavor to celebrate festivals and important days to bring them together on one platform,” said Col. Tejbir Singh AVP (Township), DLF.

Likewise The NorthCap University, Gurgaon celebrated Republic day with enthusiasm and gaiety on 26th January 2017. The celebrations began with flag hoisting by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Brigadier S K Sharma (Retd.) and offering respect to the nation. Speaking on the occasion, the Pro Vice-Chancellor greeted all faculty members, staff and their family and students on the joyous occasion. While conveying his good wishes, he expressed his confidence in leading the University to new heights of glory where its name would figure amongst the top institutions in the country.

He also stressed on the need for the faculty to rededicate themselves and put in utmost efforts in ensuring highest quality of teaching and co-curricular activities and encouraged students to achieve all round progress.

On this occasion, Vatika Business Centre, Gurgaon paid reverence to the nation by organizing an event on 26th January, 2017. The event started with a small prayer for our brave soldiers followed by a dance competition which created an exuberant atmosphere all around. For refreshments there were food stalls serving authentic cuisines from all over the country.

“It is very important for us to honor this day as it inculcates the feeling of patriotism towards our nation and also binds people from different cultural background.” says Akanksha from Vatika Business Centre.
