Police today registered a case against the local BJP MLA K K Shrivastava\'s son Siddharth and three others for allegedly beating up some people who wanted them to lower the volume of music being played at his farmhouse.

Nobody has been arrested yet.
The case was registered this evening for assault under section 324 of IPC and other offences, said inspector R P Choudhary of Tikamgarh rural police station.
Balkisan Yadav, the complainant, said that Siddharth and his friends Harish, Siyaram and Inder thrashed him and four others when they went to Siddharth's farmhouse at Sunorakhiriya near here yesterday and asked them to turn down the volume of music being played for Holi celebrations.
Siddharth and his friends allegedly beat the complainant and others with sticks, police said.
State Congress chief Arun Yadav alleged in Bhopal that police had "weakened" the case. The accused had not been arrested even though the incident took place yesterday, he pointed out, demanding their immediate arrest.
