Hyderabad: Alleging that the State and Central governments are dancing to the tune of corporate companies, CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy on Sunday said the Left parties would continue to fight for the welfare of people.Participating at the State-level AIYF workshop held at here, Venkat Reddy expressed concern over the government bowing to the pressure of the corporate. The corporate sector was looting the country.

The BJP, which came to power, assuring the youth that it would provide two lakh jobs to them, had utterly failed to fulfil its election promises, he pointed out. He stressed the need to ensure that the youth were not attracted to communal politics. The Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao too assured the youth that he would provide jobs to every household, but failed to do so.

The State government was resorting to illegal arrests when the youth staged agitation against the State government and it was trying to suppress the voices of the youth, he said.CPI leader N Bala Mallesh, AIYF State president Marupaka Anil Kumar, general secretary Ramulu Yadav, Yuva Mahila state convener Shyamala co-convener Madhavi and others participated in the workshop.
