He said that booth level committees would be established. He said that plans had been made to conduct programmes involving the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah in the next three months.Referring to the local problems, the endowments minister fired on the gravel and sand mafia in Tadepalliugdem area. He stated that the officials were just watching the mafia exploitation and the peoples’ representatives are quite about it. He alleged that the drinking water tanks which are dug under Neeru-Chettu programme become death traps to the rural people.

After conducting the review with irrigation officials at his camp office, the minister stated that the state government is taking all necessary steps with the commitment to solve the problems of irrigation and drinking water. He said that the works to be taken up for minor irrigations should be inspected by an expert committee to check the quality. A special Committee would be set up for this and on its suggests, the chain link tanks would be filled up with water to provide drinking and irrigation waters to the farmers and people. BJPO leaders K Nageswara Rao, Yeggina Nagababu, irrigation officials JB Nayak, Anil, N Hemalatha and others participated in the meeting.
