New Delhi: BJP's Telangana State president, Dr K Laxman, here on Monday lashed out at senior Congress leader, Digvijay Singh, for his 'seditious remarks' against Telangana police and demanded legal action against him.Speaking to the media here, Dr Laxman, said Digvijay should not be let-off with an apology as his anti-national mood had come to a peak. If the Congress party cannot control him, then it is up to the Government to teach him a lesson.

Digvijay is not only misleading the people and the nation with his anti-national remarks, but also aiding and abetting with separatist forces, he said. Referring to his party's 'first catch' in the form of Nandeeswar Goud, former Congress MLA, who joined the BJP on Monday, Dr Laxman said BJP has been getting stronger steadily in Telangana.

BJP national president Amit Shah would be touring Telangana on May 23, 24 and 25. Shah directed the State leadership to welcome sincere and honest leaders from rival parties to join BJP. "Whoever supports Modi government's policies and its programmes is welcome to join us. This is an open invitation", Laxman said quoting Amitshah.

BJP's primary target would be Hyderabad Parliamentary seat and it would take every step to bag it in the next elections.
Referring to the bifurcation of the High Court, he said there is little that the Centre could do in this regard. HC could come into existence the moment AP Government allocates land for the same and constructs a building there.

The State Government and the Apex Court are responsible for the delay and not the Centre, he said. Referring to the farm crisis in Telangana, Dr Laxman said farmers are highly agitated in the State due to the failure of the Government. The Centre is ready to assist the State Government in handling the chilli farmers' crisis, he added.
