LUCKNOW: Coming in open support of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, BSP chief Mayawati on Thursday said that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar betrayed the people of the state who'd voted for anti-BJP grand alliance during 2015 Bihar assembly elections.
Mayawati in a statement said that the Bihar has turned out to be another state after Manipur and Goa where BJP murdered democracy and misused government machinery to form a government. The BSP chief said that the BJP has been trying to divert people's attention from its failure by painting its political rivals as corrupt.
The BSP chief said that it was not just the question of political leaders but also of people who vote for one or the other political party during election. ``The trend set by BJP is dangerous for a democratic set up,'' Mayawati said.
