BHOPAL: 'Will he, won't he ...' that is the biggest uncertainty as the Madhya Pradesh Congress keeps guessing if BJP national president Amit Shah will meet leader of opposition Ajay Singh during his upcoming three-day visit to the state starting August 18.

Son of late Congress leader Arjun Singh and presently one of the state's prominent party leaders, Ajay Singh, had written a letter to Shah two days ago seeking time to discuss people-related issues.Earlier in the day, minister for PWD Rampal Singh told reporters that some Congress legislators and leaders were in touch with the ruling BJP since Amit Shah is coming to the state.

A few Congress casualties from the list of legislators could be expected. To this, Ajay Singh replied, "If Amit Shah breaks the Congress, we will break the BJP. There is one minister, two legislators and four BJP organisational leaders in touch with the Congress too."Speaking on the possibility of deserting his own party as Rampal Singh mentioned, Ajay Singh said, "The question does not arise."

"He has already suffered once in 2004 when an invitation extended by then BJP national president Venkaiah Naidu for evening tea with snacks led the media to report that Ajay Singh had joined the BJP."
