Teenager rapes 65-year-old woman in South Delhi, sent to juvenile home

A teenager has been apprehended for allegedly raping a 65-year-old woman in South Delhi.

The 15-year-old has been sent for counseling at a juvenile welfare center.

The woman, who is employed as a household help in her statement to the police said that the accused stayed at a nearby plot near Sainik Farms where his father worked as a caretaker.

It is learned that the boy forced himself upon the woman while she was taking a bath.

He even gagged and assaulted her when she called for help, according to the complaint.

The teenager threatened to harm her if she revealed the incident to anyone and fled the scene.

However, the woman registered a complaint in the police station. The accused was traced and later even admitted to the crime.
