Prime Minister Narendra Modi's estranged wife Jashodaben had a narrow escape when the car she was travelling in, collided with a truck near Chittor in Rajasthan on Wednesday.
According to the reports, Jashodaben suffered minor injuries and is getting primary health check-up done at a nearby clinic.
The mishap occurred around 55 km from Chittorgarh on the Kota-Chittor highway.
Sources inform that there were seven people travelling in the car and are believed to be Jashodaben’s relatives. One of them, Basant Bhai, died on the spot and the driver, Jayendra, also sustained injuries.
The family is learned to be travelling from Atru in Baran to Unjha Gujarat.
