A team of police officers in Scotland had an encounter with a wild animal on Saturday.

Last Saturday, a man had spotted a wild animal on his farm and informed the police precisely regarding a tiger’s presence.

Responding immediately to the call, the officials rushed to the spot with an armed response team, to the farm at Hatton. Even a wildlife park in the vicinity was contacted to inquire if an animal had escaped.

After engaging in a ‘standoff’ for 45 minutes, the cops realised that the tiger was, in fact, a huge stuffed toy.

Facebook page 'UK Cop Humor' posted pictures of the said ‘tiger’ garnering a lot of responses. The post has collected over 1,000 shares since it was posted on February 5.

The North East Police Division stated in the post that it was not a prank but was a false call made with good intent.
