Pregnant Woman Aborts After Being Kicked In Abdomen, 7 CPM Men Arrested

KOZHIKODE: In a shocking incident, alleged CPM activists killed a pregnant woman in her abdomen, due to which she lost her pregnancy. The seven-month pregnant baby was lost due to the kicking.

According to the sources, Josana Sibbi and her husband were attacked by the CPM activists in connection with a land dispute on January 28. The miscreants barged into their house and attacked them. In the melee, the Left activists kicked her in her abdomen causing hemorrhage and abortion of the pregnancy.

Though the incident occurred last month, the incident came to light after the woman and her husband sat in dharna in front of the Kozhikode police station a few days ago.They demanded action against the Left party activities. They alleged that the police have even refused to lodge a case initially. The CPM activists reportedly threatened to cut the legs of the woman’s husband if she did not withdraw the complaint.
