Bengaluru much awaited one of its kind ride which turned into reality on Monday, its India's first helitaxi service launched in Bengaluru. The helitaxi is ready to provide its services between Kempegowda International Airport and Electronic City.

This innovative helicopter taxi service is started by Kochi based Thumby Aviation Private Limited, with a service intention of connecting prime locations from Bengaluru airport.

Usually, the distance between Kempegowda International Airport and Electronic City is 53 kms, which takes more than two hours in traveling. And some time this journey turns into a nightmage because of the heavy traffic jams.

This connectivity route is used by top level personalities who are in a rush to attend the business meetings at Electronic City or hurry in catching their flight at airport.

But now this situation has changed, all thanks to the helitaxi service which has become reality. it is unbelievable now you can reach Bengaluru airport in just 12 minutes, which is nothing but fantastic.

With the overwhelming response from the passengers, Thumby Aviation is also planning to launch services from KIA to luxury hotels including ITC Gardenia.

The heli taxi service is operated during 6:30am to 9:30 am to 3:15 pm to 6:15 pm between KIA and Electronic City.

“The helipad at Phase-I of Electronics City is also situated close to the upcoming metro station and bus station.

The service is priced at Rs 4,130 per seat including GST. It includes pick up from airport terminal to the helipad and allows to carry 15 kg luggage, but would be charged extra for additional luggage.

Thumby Aviation has its own app "Heli Taxi" Where the interested one can book their ride. This helicopter can seat six passengers at a single trip.
