Modiji is back on track to book the scamsters…..

The arrest of Karti Chidambaram, the son of former Finance Minister of India by CBI for further interrogation indicates that Modiji has become very serious to fight corruption. Modiji has put his mission on fifth gear to investigate thoroughly all allegations of scams and bring the culprits to book.

Getting the baby blue whale from the pod in vast ocean is not that easy. Many other whales in the pod do come forward to defend the baby in their pod so any investigating agency to go near to the children of the powerful political leaders is not easy.

The debate is not about whether the allegation is true or not and it is the duty of the investigational agency to establish. But the general perception is that whether the investigating agencies are doing their job sincerely or are carefully casual and willfully careless in investigating scams at high place and even if they have to prepare FIR and file charge sheet, are they doing everything possible to let the scam charges go unproved in the court of law etc.

The above perception got noisier in the aftermath of 2G scam verdict. The 2G case verdict had dented the image of Modiji about his seriousness and zeal in pursuing the scam cases surrounding politicians. People even concluded that Modiji makes mere rhetoric statements against corruption and scams but is not serious about punishing the scamsters and looters.

Since all roots of the big tree called corruption in India has originated from the same tree which have been ruling the state for nearly 6 decades, none of the roots of the same tree are expected to work against the tree. Even if undeniable evidences are made available still the roots are not going to act because all such roots were originated from the same tree. The roots may not absolve even if any material that is available and instead it may prefers to sleep on it as long as possible.

Delaying the investigation is equal to destroying the evidence and weakening the case. Modiji’s Government may be suffering from ‘non cooperation’ movement like situation from some key officials in the investigating agencies, certain key departments including judiciary therefore Modiji could not pursue aggressively against all scam cases.

People of India are sick and tired of the political parties calling each other corrupt. People are very serious about how many scams relating to high offices has been investigated and how many scamsters has been brutally punished. If Modiji ever assume he can hangs on the narratives of corruption saga of previous government without presenting any convincing evidence on what action he has taken against those scamsters and how many scamsters have been punished etc., the people of India are not going to pardon Modiji politically. People want severe punishment to those scamsters and not spiritual counseling.

2019 election cannot be fought on the narratives of corruption but about how many corrupts have been punished and how brutal is the punishment awarded to the corrupt.

The possibility of government officials imparting wrong advices to the government is anyone’s guess. Some people in NITI Ayog, MOHFW and Ministry of AYUSH has indeed affected the credibility of Modiji by including a clause in NMC bill to legalize cross pathy and quackery by graduates from faith healing practices under the name – providing more doctors to patients in rural India. This shows that some officials have hit the Achilles feet of the Government – the Ayurveda love of BJP.

The clause to provide legal sanction for quackery has really alienated all those who are educated, who are updating what is happening in the nation regularly and the students who are the prospective voters in 2019 election.

Like the above, many more officials may be working in the government but may be sabotaging the good intent of Modiji which Modiji is yet to realize. Even if he realizes, the damage has already been done.

People of India seriously expect a clear vivisection of all scams and loots and wants the scamsters are punished severely. People expect Modiji to list the number of looters his government has punished and not about how many new scams the Government has unearthed.
