Salman Khan's lawyer receives threat calls to drop case
Ahead of the bail hearing for Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Friday, his lawyer claimed that he has been getting threatening messages asking him to drop the case.
Ahead of the bail hearing for Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Friday, his lawyer claimed that he has been getting threatening messages asking him to drop the case.
The lawyer, Mahesh Bora said that he received several SMS and Internet calls, warning him not to appear in Court for Salman Khan in the bail petition on Friday. Speaking outside the Jodhpur Sessions court, he further said that the messages mentioned that he will be shot at if he does not drop the case.
The sessions court on Thursday deferred the bail petition filed in the order of five years imprisonment for the actor after a Jodhpur court on Thursday found him guilty under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act.
The bail order now has been reserved till Saturday and Salman Khan will have to spend another night in the Jodhpur Central jail.
Salman's brothers Alvira, Arpita and Bodyguard Shara came to the court after the bail petition while the actor's brothers' Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan will be soon coming to Jodhpur.
