An Indian family of four have gone missing since April 5 in California, USA. The family - Sandeep Thottapally, his wife Soumya and two kids -Siddhant and Saachi were on a road trip from Portland to California.

An Indian family of four have gone missing since April 5 in California, USA. The family - Sandeep Thottapally, his wife Soumya and two kids -Siddhant and Saachi were on a road trip from Portland to California.

They had travelled to Portland from Los Angeles, where they live but went missing on their return trip.

Authorities are investigating the possibility of an accident and also are suspecting that the car might have washed away in Eel River in California.

Sandeep, working as the Vice-President for the Union Bank, is a nature lover and often went on road trips with the family.

The police have reportedly got some clues about the location of the vehicle with the help of their phone GPS.

Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who came to know of the incident responded on Twitter that they are coordinating with the police and the Indian Consulate in San Francisco.
