Rajasekhar said that due to the commitments of the party, he was hard pressed for time and was unable to do justice to his legal profession. Hence, he had decided to resign from the party.
He said the new comers into the party were being given greater importance than those who stayed with the party from the beginning. Rajasekhar was introduced to Kamal by some prominent officials in Tamil Nadu and occupied a key post in the party. But, due to recent developments, he felt he should leave the party, he said.
