When Modi is not Rama, Rahul can’t be Dhobi: Venkaiah Naidu decides

The impeachment motion against Chief Justice of India by Congress and its close alleys was squarely rejected by Hon’ble Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and laid the issue to rest for the time being. There is a talk in congress circles that it may contest the decision in Supreme court.

Here the contention of congress is not the reason of rejecting the notice rather the way Hon’ble Vice president rejected the notice is being talked much. It is said that Vice President who broke his scheduled tour of Hyderabad and returned to capital and with a hurried consultation the notice was rejected.

Congress leadership wanted the issued to be in the public domain for some time and encase it on coming Karnataka elections. They plan to show this issue as “Modi managing the judiciary”. They also wanted the Ram Janmabhumi hearing which is on fast track is to be scuttled for the time being by bringing a jolt in judiciary.

Let’s see the merits of the case in decision making of Hon’ble Vice President.The impeachment motion notice though signed by more than required 50 member of the upper house is very much lacking proper ground. The notice of CJI impeachment has only personal issues and his decisions pertaining to decades old cases are being taken for consideration which has no relevance as on today.

More over they are not decisions which impact the constitution, law of the land and also the integrity of his position as Chief Justice. Venkaiah Naidu also might felt that when a person elected as a CJI, the collegiums as well as government takes care of credentials of the person and more over he was proved beyond doubt that he is very bold and straight forward in taking decisions on matters of national interest keeping rest aside.

It is not wise to take too much of time and drag issue on the matters of highest judiciary as people will lose faith due to politicians baseless allegations and comments. They never have regard or respect for any institution except their master’s voice for the sake of power mongering.

We are not in Ramarajya today to send Sita mai to vanavas (forest stay) on a comment made by a dhobi (washer man), so let’s conclude by saying when Modi is not Rama, Rahul cannot be dhobi (washer man).
