On thursday, the deputy CM G Parameshwara has stated that the party has not yet decided whether to support H D Kumaraswamy as CM for the full five year-term.

He has stated that the party’s main concern at present is to allocate portfolios and provide good administration. The decision of whether the CM position is to be shared is yet to be decided.

Congress is to occupy crucial positions as compensation for leaving the position of CM to the JD(S).There might be a chance for a rotation system to be implemented.

Meanwhile BJP has been contemplating to boycott the trust vote, citing the coalition government’s illegitimacy.

However the present CM H D Kumaraswamy might not appreciate the undercut at his authority by the deputy CM.
