Kolkata man arrested after video of him masturbating while ogling at two women goes viral

Police arrested a man in Kolkata last week for allegedly masturbating in a bus while ogling at two women. The incident was recorded by the women and posted on social media.

Kolkata police posted on its Facebook page, “The man, a hawker by profession, was arrested from Shyampukur police station area in the city.”

The post also included a photograph of the man, who they claimed hailed from Baidyabati in Hooghly district. Within hours of the post going viral, the man was was arrested.

The victim in her Facebook post said, “When we protested and asked the bus conductor to take action, he ignored our pleas.”
