Another medical aspirant takes life, in Tamil Nadu
A 17 year old girl, K Subhashri, committed suicide as she was upset over her failure to clear the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET).
TRICHY:A 17 year old girl, K Subhashri, committed suicide as she was upset over her failure to clear the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET).
Subhashri, who is the resident of Thiruvalluvar Avenue, had completed her class 12 and was waiting for the result of NEET exam.
She had scored 907 out of 1200 marks, in class 12 and scored 24 out of 720, in NEET.Her parents V Kanna and K Selvi stated that at 10 pm on Wednesday, she locked herself in one of the rooms in the house and hanged herself from the ceiling.
Her parents found her hanging and had immediately rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared dead, prior to her arrival at the hospital.
Her parents have stated that they knew that she was upset, but didn’t realize that she would take such an extreme step.
