Originally hailing from Indore, the leader had a huge following in Maharashtra as well. He was the founder for institutes like Shri Sadguru Datta Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust and Suryodaya Ashram. He refused to accept the Minister of State status, conferred on him by MP government, stating saints don't consider a post as important.
