A massive fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon on the upper floors of a skyscraper, located in Worli\'s Prabhadevi area in Mumbai.

NEW DELHI: On Wednesday afternoon, a fire broke out in the city of Mumbai's Worli on the top end floors of a high rise residential building called Prabhadevi.

Around 100 people were brought to safety from the building. The officials have not reported any casualties yet. The ANI news agency said that the authorities of the building claimed the fire to be a 'Level-III'.During this incident, 10 fire tenders, 2 quick response vehicles, 2 ambulances and 5 water tankers were present at the location, known as Appasaheb Marathe Marg.

It is said that the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone owns an apartment in this building.The Mumbai City Police tweeted on a social media network, assuring that the staff and the fire brigade are on the location of the incident for assistance.

"They are trying their best to douse the fire and provide necessary help to people there", it said.
