New Delhi: A new star has emerged on the horizon of the TDP who can take on the North Indian politicians in their native tongue. That is TDP MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu.

In his short address to the House on the no-trust motion of his party, this younger Naidu, proved his mettle not only to his party leadership but also has become someone who is to be watched in future. For record sake, Rammohan Naidu, in a hard-hitting speech in Hindi on no-trust motion on Friday, sought clarifications on the assurances given by the Centre on the unkept promises.

"What happened to the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone? Why is there a delay? When the debate on bifurcation was on, the very same Venkaiah Naidu and Arun Jaitley said the SCS should be there for AP for 10 years and not five years. Why don't they do it now? You keep changing the word once a year and are we not supposed to ask you about the same? You say you have given institutions but how much have you released.

Only 5 per cent of the total funds?' "When will you give the rest? In the next 80 years? Who will study in them and who will see them? You construct your party headquarters in Delhi in two years with 70 rooms, digital library and latest facilities but not establish universities promised to us? What happened to the petro chemical complex promised to us? What happens in Gujarat where ONGC etc spend thousands of crores but similar projects would not happen in AP just because you don’t keep your word. What happened to the Metro".

Naidu smashed the arguments of the BJP further questioning the party "where would we go if we don't talk here and demand here. This is the biggest temple of democracy in the country.

Here is where the Act was made and here is where we demand the same. We did not know the Congress would support it today. Just the 15 members, all of us. Allow us to demand and ask the PM to answer. It is not my promise. It is the PM's promise. He repeatedly told us that he would give the status for 10 years. We are only seeking the same.”

By the end of the short speech, Rammohan Naidu earned the encomiums of one and all not only for the flow of his speech and lucidity but also for his command over the Hindi language. Where Rahul failed his party miserably in taking on the might of the BJP, it was Rammohan Naidu, who succeeded as none others. "It is by far the best speech and we were surprised", several Hindi speaking MPs' commented.
