BANGALORE: The High Court had previously roped in two scientists from IISc to work with BBMP in the ongoing potholes issue. Following their notice of being unable to commit to the tasks owing to time constraints, the High Court has now commissioned Dinesh Agrawal - superintending engineer, CWE (Army), Bangalore, Military Engineer Services, and M G Uma, the member secretary, Karnataka State Legal Services Authority to carry on the procedures.

The officers were requested by the court to inspect the areas which the BBMP claims to have filled and repaired the potholes in. Following the request, the officers, accompanied by V Sreenidhi, counsel for the BBMP, SR Anuradha, counsel for the petitioners, and BBMP engineers/officers visited the areas on Monday evening.

Several wards in Yelahanka zone, Malleswaram and Mahalakshmi layout areas coming under West Zone of the BBMP had been inspected. The court has requested the commissioned officers to submit the reports based on their findings.
