New Delhi: Commissioner of Police, Delhi, Amulya Patnaik on Wednesday inaugurated two Subsidiary Police Canteens at East and Shahdara DCP Office Complex, officials said.
The products, including groceries, cosmetics and travel bags, which were being sold through these canteen, are procured from CRPF on subsidised rates granted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, officials said.
The objective of these two canteens is to cater to the families of serving and retired police personnel, especially, those residing in trans-Yamuna area, police added.
These canteens will function from 9 am to 5 pm from Tuesday to Sunday.
