‘The True Modiji’ – BJP’s Olive Branch to Edapadi, CM of TN

Appeared to be the ‘olive branch’ extended by BJP to EPS (Edapadi Pallani Samy), the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu have to be seen in the right perspective than from the lens politics or jealous.

BJP under Modiji is committed to develop India which has gone almost 50 years behind time, space, continuum thanks to previous regimes. Therefore the intent of BJP and central government is clear; the olive branch is more for the welfare of the state than for any political gain. Need of the hour is that the present Government in TN must complete its full term which both OPS and EPS will certainly agree. Stability of the present Government in TN is important both for the state as well as to possibly prevent/delay the drawidian rule to return.

Ever since MGR got branched out from DMK and formed AIADMK, Tamil Nadu has started to move towards development than playing mere Tamil identity politics, language chauvinism and culture supremacy. Although cast arithmetic was employed by AIADMK, it was more to gather votes than to divide and compartmentalize the society under various casts and that is how AIADMK under MGR and Amma differed from other drawidian parties.

Madam Jayalalithaa began a new era in Tamil Nadu by invoking the importance of faith and belief in God as such sentiments and faith systems are also important for many to not to breach law and order. However, the dravidian branding did happen may be in a subtle way even during AIADMK regime as well.

Today AIADMK has reduced to an illusion than real and therefore the only leader who commands honesty, vision and direction for AIADMK is OPS and many believe he alone can lead the party to victory during next election. The syndicate of power hungry people can continue in office at the best till the expiry of the term and once the term is over, automatically many would expire from Tamil Nadu politics.

A state like Tamil Nadu cannot be allowed to perish due to power hungry politics. This is not the time to play politics and look for some political gains is the core philosophy of Modiji.

Based on the past records of Modiji, Modiji would never engage in such unscrupulous politics and that is why majority of youths are ardent supporters of Modiji. This true intent and reason alone would have prompted the BJP to extend olive branch to EPS. Perhaps Modiji would have advised the BJP to support the present Government to develop the state.

Modiji as we all know always give importance to the interest of the state and the nation than the political gains of BJP.

People of Tamil Nadu must understand and appreciate the political ethics and doctrines of Modiji. Time is up the state must be ruled by a person of such stature, value system and commitment and only then the state can be developed.

Dynasty politics, nepotism, family rule and the all pervasive corruption should not be allowed to revisit and return to the state. The state and centre must work together and not fight with each other.

All most all business establishments in Tamil Nadu are run and owned by politicians like liquor, sand mining, educational institutions, medical colleges, marine wealth etc. With the help of their political connections and influence, they change and modify the policies while in power. As a result, the state has gone back to Silurian age but ironically the politicians have grown rich. They generate enough and more bad money from business to pump into politics and from politics they again harvest money to back the business.

The choreographed politics amongst drawidian parties in Tamil Nadu must be ended to develop the state. Intent of Modiji is not politics, but governance and development.

The warring factions in the AIADMK must recognize the truth that Amma is no more to guide them to victory in next election. Modiji is the most respected political leader in the country and hence rallying behind his reputation and acceptance is the need of the hour. Therefore instead of brooding over the past glory or tries to play big brother attitude, AIADMK must submit and surrender to the importance of developing the state which Modiji can certainly achieve.

By extending the olive branch by BJP under Modiji, he has kept the interest of the state above politics and therefore the people of Tamil Nadu also must responsibly reciprocate during next election.
