Serpentine queues still continue

Armoor: Rural people continue to face hardships, standing in serpentine queues in front of banks and ATMs, all over the constituency. In spite of 30 banks and 15 ATM’s, they had to wait for nearly four hours to withdraw their money.

Farmers who are supposed to be busy in agricultural activities were seen desperately waiting at Banks and ATMs for money. The scenario is no different for those families, who depend on the money sent by family members from Gulf countries.

The people are in despair and urging the government to provide solution as soon as possible. The only good that could be seen is on the part of the bank officials who are arranging tents for customers outside banks.
