Budding artists

Kalakriti Art Gallery, Hyderabad, recently showcased some amazing artefacts by six young female Oakridgers, which are still on display at Oakridge International School, Gachibowli.

Aptly named 'Infinite Journey', it started with some immense initial steps two years ago for the girls. They were focussed to explore the marvel in them, as each of the girls demonstrated their unique lens of their journey in the form of canvas.

The talented budding artists – Aditi, Apurupa, Anuradha, Hema, Veda and Deeksha have chosen innovative subjects like music and snazzy glamour, nature and, colour play. They were nurtured by Oakridge Art mentors – Piu Mahapatra, M S Vaasu, B Visweshwara Rao and G Ramakrishna.

“As an art teacher I am very proud to see the distance these girls have already travelled and will be thrilled to see their voyage ahead,” said their proud mentors.
