Director Srinu Vaitla prays for Baadshah's success

Tirumala: Well-known film director Srinu Vaitla visited Tirumala shrine and offered prayers to the Lord Venkateswara here on Wednesday. The director's new film and Jr NTR starrer 'Baadshah' is going to hit the screens on April 5.

He performed special pujas by placing the first copy of the movie's print at the feet of the deity. Interacting with media persons outside the temple, the director stated that he generally visits the famous Tirumala temple before the release of any of his films.

He described the movie as a wholesome entertainer and would be a treat to Jr NTR fans, he added. He exuded confidence that the film would impress the audience as it was a mix of action, comedy and sentiment. Expectations are high on the film and its release marks the beginning of a line of big releases this summer. Kajal Aggarwal, who teamed up with Jr NTR for the second time after the success of their first film Brindavanam, is the love interest of the hero.

Actors Navdeep and Siddharth appear in cameo roles. SS Taman has composed music for the film, which is produced by Bandla Ganesh under his Parameswara Arts Production Banner.
