HC provides 40 laptops to judicial officers

Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh High Court has provided 40 laptops to the judicial officers in Chittoor district here on Saturday. A two-day training camp was conducted by master trainer to train these officers with new operating system 'Ubuntu Linux'. As per the instructions of Supreme Court, the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy changed the platform from existing operating system to Ubuntu Linux with new concepts. Master trainer Govardhan, who was trained by the National Judicial Academy, is imparting training to these Judicial Officers for two days. As part of this training, initially the judicial officers are being trained in practical tips, techniques, practice, concepts, managing files and folders. The main concept of this new technological change is to feed the orders and verdicts in their laptops and to share with other systems in the court.
